< Previous5051 Text by Chondarin Subarna Na Ayudhya If you had a dream destination to visit, would you prefer to go with a close friend who knows you well or with a big group of friends? Which do you enjoy more, and why? DUNK: I think I would go with a big group of friends because it's more fun that way. Travelling as a gang means there are more people to share the excitement with and create unforgettable memories together. I really enjoy the lively atmosphere and the camaraderie that comes with travelling in a big group. What's your absolute dream travel destination right now, and what's got you itching to go there? DUNK: My dream travel destination? Honestly, I'd love to visit every country in the world! But right now I'm really keen on exploring Europe, especially places like Italy and France. I'm excited to see their beautiful cities and immerse myself in their culture. DUNK: Definitely! I want to play golf there and try out some other sports, maybe even pick up horse riding again. There’s just so much to do and see! Which destination has left the biggest impression on you, and why? DUNK: Many destinations have left a big impression on me, but I'd say Japan stands out the most. I love Japanese food—sushi, ramen, sashimi, and everything else. The cuisine there is just incredible, and I love the food there so much that it’s a big part of why Japan left such a lasting impression on me. If an overseas friend visits Thailand for the first time, where would you take them? Which province would you visit, and which restaurant in Bangkok would you take them to? Why did you choose these places? DUNK: I don't have any specific restaurants in mind, but I would want them to try all the Thai favourites—local dishes like pad thai, ka-prao, and also seafood. For provinces, maybe Pattaya or Koh Samui to experience our beautiful beaches. Of course, I think they're very pretty in Thailand, and these places really showcase that. With the current focus on climate change, do you practise any routines daily to help reduce your carbon footprint? DUNK: As for global warming, I make an effort not to use plastic bags and ensure that I dispose trash in the proper places. I also avoid burning trash, which can contribute to further global warming. When you travel, what kind of things do you prefer to do? Do you enjoy shopping, wandering around cities, or do you prefer being close to nature? DUNK: Actually, I enjoy a bit of everything but it depends on my mood at the time. Sometimes being close to nature is refreshing, especially after spending a lot of time in the city. It's great then to get out and breathe fresh air. As for shopping, I'm into it—I shop every day, even online. I love indulging in spending (laughs). When you travel, do you normally plan in detail or go with the flow? DUNK: I usually start with a basic plan. I'll decide on a country or destination and once I'm there, I then go with the flow and plan everything accordingly. So, I'd say I do a bit of both—plan ahead and then adapt as we go.5354 THE SPOTLIGHT55 I've heard you're afraid of lizards and geckos, which are common especially in the provinces. Have you ever had an alarming incident? DUNK: Yeah, I've been afraid of them since I was young. They just look nasty, you know? Actually, at my house we have a lot of geckos for some reason. Once, I opened the door to the toilet and a gecko fell right in front of me, scaring me pretty badly. What did you do? DUNK: I ran! I ran away as fast as I could (laughs)! If you had the chance to try skydiving, would you give it a try? DUNK: Oh, definitely! It's similar to the experience in the Thai Reserve Officer Training Corps Student Programme when we had to jump out of a tower. Skydiving is like that, but from a much higher place. Yeah, I'd definitely give it a try. Are there any other thrilling activities you'd like to try at least once in your lifetime? DUNK: Maybe bungee jumping. It looks really scary, but I think I'd give it a try because I've never done it and it looks… interesting. So, you're not afraid of heights? DUNK: Not really (laughs). As someone with a keen sense of style and a passion for fashion, what clothing items are must-haves when you travel? DUNK: When I travel, I believe accessories play a significant role in shaping a fashionable look. You can start with a simple white tee- shirt, jeans, and loafers for a basic look. But by adding a watch, necklace, or bracelets you can really elevate the look to be stylish and chic. It's all about those finishing touches! Please share some of your recent projects. And how can fans keep up with your latest news? DUNK: Right now, I'm filming "Summer Night” (ความลัับในคืนฤดููร้้อน), which is based on a WEBTOON series. After this series wraps up, I'll be working on "The Heart Killers (เขาจ้้างให้้ผม จ้ีบนักฆ่่า)". In that series, I play a mechanic who's also a fashionista and wears a lot of crop tops, so it'll be something new for me. When can we expect these to be released? DUNK: You can expect "Summer Night" very soon, possibly within this year. As for "The Heart Killers," we haven't started filming yet, so maybe next year. Fans can keep up with my latest updates through my social media channels and official website. Is there anything else you'd like to share with your fans, any message you’d like to convey to them? DUNK: I would like to say that you guys are the reasons for all my happiness, truly. Since my university years, I couldn't have made it without you. Feeling exhausted after working and filming while pursuing an engineering degree that was focused on innovative engineering—it was so challenging, because I'm not passionate about coding. But you guys always gave me encouragement, and that's what lifted me up and kept me going. So, thank you all.
